Gaga is shiny and she knows it. Here are some photos I took from her concert in Toronto not too long ago. It was glorious. There's not much more I can say as the sparkle, structure, and shoes she wore say plenty.

Maybe by Sarah Catalfo

I attended the Maybe by Sarah Catalfo show at the Rivoli on Queen St. yesterday and it was fantastic! Sarah (pictured in her own yellow and black dress above) is an adorable and very talented individual. Her line mixes simplicity with eccentricity and manages to stay girly while bringing out the wearer's inner bad girl. Sarah has outfitted the singer Lights for music videos and events and has created gorgeous pieces that reflect the songstress's futuristic style. I could really tell that much effort was put into this line and that Sarah Catalfo is one to watch.

The Sartorialist

I met Scott Schuman (the man behind The Sartorialist) on Wednesday. I look haggard but he looks adorable! I was surprised to find him so sociable and sweet, and, obviously, well-dressed. It was truly a pleasure to meet him and hear what he had to say about blogging, photography, and fashion.

I've been fairly dormant lately... well... my blogging habits have been. It's summer, the weather's decent and I find myself walking about aimlessly spending more money than my job cares to pay me. Unfortunately, my wardrobe's been terribly boring so rather than showing off some mediocre form of dressing, I will grace you with a few images that inspire. I need cash and I need it quick. I have an interesting new job opportunity lined up... I'll tell you more about it eventually.

tributes!

Say hello to my first pair of designer shoes... the classy and classic YSL Tributes! They're honestly a dream. I wore them to work today and they were actually quite comfortable for the first four hours. Although the super-high heels made it hard to climb the ladders in the stock room... and since it's prom season I've been checking the back for dress sizes like a mad woman. I wore my Tributes with an AA skirt and tank, Zara blazer, Miu Miu wristlet, D&G watch, and Liu Jo metallic wrap-around bracelet.

Anyways, I'm off to work on my short story project...

house of harlow 1960 launch party

I went to the launch party for Nicole Richie's jewelry line House of Harlow 1960 last Tuesday at Holt Renfrew on Bloor. It was amazingly fun with free goodies, vintage-inspired jewelry, drinks, and Nicole's adorable little self! I picked up a pair of her starburst leather and gold earrings which are FANTASTIC... and I got a free MBMJ bracelet in my goodie bag. Hooray for Holts!

Rome

Our road, like all roads, led to Rome. It was my third time in Rome so the sight-seeing was a little redundant but awe-inspiring nonetheless. Personally, the Pantheon is the greatest sight in the city... it never ceases to amaze me and inspire a gasp or two. We went, we saw, we bought a lot of stuff... and then we went home... to North America... to reality... to school... to work... to a horrid existence. I miss Europe immenselyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!
